In the not too distant future, artificial life is in its infancy and humankind has taken its first steps in a new evolutionary frontier, there are people that can fly, change shape, all that cool stuff!

Marlowe Reed is a rich industralist who struggles to find his place among the superpowered elite, without any powers, as the armoured vigilante Longspur, while humanity is struggling to improve so as not to be supplanted by its creations.

This is one of the scenes we extracted from the beginning of the second act to display at PAX Australia in 2019. We kind of put a PAX sheen on it to try and plug into the PAX energy a little bit.

An additional scene was added so that the demo stands a little more on its own without someone there to explain it, sorry if its too meta, but it felt like the best way to add something to it without interfering too much with what was originally on display.

Project Status

The scope of this project has gotten way too large to complete in a reasonable timeframe.

The main problem being the narrative importance of the villains/rogues in stories like this, its too packed with origin stories for villains at the moment, and we've felt like it was a real shame we couldn't go into detail with some of these characters.

Hence we have decided to suspend this project, extract the narratives dealing with the origins of these characters and giving them each a short ~2.5hr adventure game experience of their own where we can delve deeper into their stories!

We hope to produce them in ~6 months each, so the first will hopefully be out around May 2020.

(We could also miss that deadline by a mile.....)

Was great to meet you at the PAX Rising stand this year. I covered Longspur in my article here: http://alienabductionunit.com/pax-rising-2019.html

Really hoping you get some great voice artists for this.

Wow thank you!
